Writer. Pacific Northwesterner. Dog mom. Bubble tea enthusiast.

From University studies to a professional communications career in the sports—and sportswear—industry, and veterinary science and diagnostics, I love learning and writing about everything from hockey to history to minimalism to the natural world. And beyond!

In 2021, I self-published my first children’s picture book about an exuberant, curious, and sometimes troublesome dog: Tilly the Troublemaker.

When I’m not chasing after my two giant dogs or reading nonfiction books, I love cooking and baking, jigsaw puzzles (an unfortunate after-effect of the 2020 lockdown), writing on a clandestine Substack, and enjoying the beauty of the PNW. I’m also known to pet every dog I see—the more obviously out of the way, the better—and not being able to tell if I’m inadvertently making a Seinfeld reference in conversation.
